Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Therapist, Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator, and Restorative Practice Consultant

About Me

Angelica, a trauma-informed therapist for anxiety and PTSD
Hi, I’m Angelica Emery-Fertitta (she/they),

a licensed clinical social worker offering trauma-informed, embodied/somatic therapy for individuals and couples/relationships in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
My approach is grounded in compassion, social justice, and a deep belief in each person’s capacity for healing and growth. I integrate talk therapy with somatic practices, restorative work, and creative modalities to support you in navigating life’s challenges and reconnecting with (or uncovering) your full self.

In addition to my identities as a social worker, therapist and trauma sensitive yoga facilitator, I am also a parent, a partner, a friend, an artist, a hiker and an activist. All of the interventions I draw upon and theoretical frameworks I utilize, have been integral to my own healing and growth or are part of my personal practice in some way or another. I show up in my multitudes to make space for you to do the same.

Compassionate & Trauma-Informed Care

I offer therapy grounded in trauma sensitivity, embodied presence, and a deep respect for your lived experience.

Social Justice & Somatic Approach

My work is relational as it integrates a focus on liberation, somatic practices, and creative modalities to support meaningful, lasting healing.

Flexible & Personalized Support

Through virtual or walk-and-talk sessions, I meet you where you are—with honesty, warmth, and a commitment to your growth.

In addition to talk therapy, I offer integrated healing experiences that support both mind and body. My background in clinical social work, yoga, and trauma-informed care allows me to tailor sessions that honor your full self—whether you’re looking for traditional psychotherapy, body-based practices, or a combination of both. I specialize in working with clients navigating trauma, anxiety, identity exploration, and relationship challenges, always with a focus on creating a safe, collaborative, and culturally responsive space. By combining evidence-based approaches with creativity, somatics, and social justice values, I strive to help you move toward meaningful change, deeper connection, and sustainable well-being.
